20 Years of Service – Captain Brian Beasley

Fire Chief Chris Costine presented Captain Brian Beasley with his 20 Years of Service award on Monday evening, February 18th and stated that Captain Beasley started his career with the Lake Alfred Fire Department in 1992 as a volunteer firefighter under Chief Larry Cloud, actually giving him 27 years of service to the City of Lake Alfred.

During his time here with the City of Lake Alfred Fire Department, Brian attained EMT in 1994, attended the fire academy at Ridge Career Center and was hired as a paid firefighter in 1999, promoted to Captain in 2004 by Chief Roger Pridgen and currently over sees “B” shift, attained Paramedic in 2009 (one year course).  Brian was the employee of the quarter in December 2015 and has the Fire Officer I certification.

Brain also takes care of ordering the Public Education supplies for the station, and often gives talks to students at area schools on fire safety. The latest being on Feb. 6th, he spoke before Discovery High School students during career day about a career in emergency services.  He is married to Missy Beasley and they have a daughter Ashley Beasley.  Thank you for your service to the City of Lake Alfred Captain Beasley.
