On August 6, 2019 the Employee of the Quarter award was given to Celeste Stillion, Communications Coordinator with the Lake Alfred Police Department. The award was presented by the Chief of Police William Bodenheimer.
“Celeste Stillion began her career in law enforcement with the Haines City Police Department as a Communications Operator for almost 3 years in the late 90’s. Her next Communications Operator position was with the Polk County Sheriffs Office where she spent over nine years rising to the rank of Assistant Shift Supervisor. During this time she was responsible for over 40 employees including scheduling, payroll and training.
After leaving the Sheriffs Office, Celeste became a stay at home mom and assisted a friend with a private business for a short time.
In April 2017, Celeste was hired as a communications operator with the Lake Alfred Police Department. In her first year of service with the department she showed her experience and knowledge of the job assisting in many projects. In April 2018, Celeste was promoted to the position of Communications Coordinator. Since taking that position she has been an integral part with records management, scheduling, training and any other task that is placed before her.
Employees like Celeste help make the City of Lake Alfred, the Lake Alfred Police and Fire Departments and all. other departments a success for the citizens we serve.
It is my pleasure to have Celeste Stillion as an employee of the Lake Alfred Police and be able to present her with the award as the Employee of the Quarter.”
Congratulations on being the Employee of the Second Quarter
