Open New Service Account

New accounts are opened at the Administration Building located:

155 E Pomelo Street
Lake Alfred, FL 33850

Between the hours of 8 am – 4 pm Monday through Friday

New services are processed (turned-on) between 8-10 am daily, and someone must be at the location to access the building.

The following information is required to open an account:

  1. Government-issued photo ID
  2. Proof of residence   (closing deed, settlement statement, or lease signed by the property owner)
  3. Deposit – Please call 863-291-5270 to verify the deposit amount.

To open an account on-line, please provide the following information by fax (863)-291-5317 or email (mybill@mylakealfred.com).

  1. Complete New Service Application (PDF)
  2. Date service is to be started
  3. Voluntary Annexation Form (PDF)
  4. Copy of Government-issued photo ID
  5. Copy of proof of residence (closing deed, settlement statement, or lease signed by the property owner)
  6. To pay the deposit, please mail a check or complete the One Time Credit Card Payment Authorization (PDF)

Alarm Registration

Alarm registration fee: $25.00

All residential and commercial alarms are required to be registered with the City. This is a onetime nonrecurring fee.

Please print and complete an Alarm Registration Application (PDF), submit a $25 check payable to the City of Lake Alfred and mail to: City Clerk / Alarm Permit, 155 East Pomelo Street, Lake Alfred FL 33850.
