Alarm registration fee: $25.00
Emergency personnel respond to thousands of false alarm calls yearly. These unnecessary responses result in an enormous burden in manpower and expense, which in turn reduces the time available to respond to real emergencies.
The City’s Code of Ordinances requires all residential and commercial alarms to be registered with the City in order for us to respond more efficiently to emergency situations. This is a onetime nonrecurring fee.
If you prefer to register by mail, please print and complete an Alarm Application form, attach a check for the applicable amount, payable to the City of Lake Alfred and mail to City Clerk / Alarm Permit, 155 East Pomelo Street, Lake Alfred FL 33850.
Submit application with new alarm system installation or new ownership of a home with an existing system.
