Service Worker II – Roads & Streets Public Works $23,452 – $26,411 Open Until Filled
Responsible for maintenance and care of city streets, alleys, right of ways, stormwater utilities, and city-owned buildings.  Should have two (2) years experience in street maintenance or similar work-related field.  Must be able to operate general lawn equipment.  Work involves performing heavy manual labor, which requires the use of hand tools to assemble, install, and maintain equipment and city properties. As work experience is gained, employees in this class may be assigned to somewhat more complicated and responsible tasks.  Must possess a valid Florida driver’s license.  Accountable to and works under the direction of the Superintendents and Public Works Director.

Part-Time Service Worker I Parks & Recreation $12.67 per hour | 24 hours a week Open Until Filled
Responsible for the care and maintenance of city parks, ball fields, basketball courts, tennis courts, and all other recreational facilities. Required to participate in all City-sponsored special events.  Accountable to and works under the direction of the Parks and Recreation Director.

Police Officer I Police $35,264 – $39,713 Open Until Filled
Responsible Police Work in the protection of life & property through the enforcement of laws & ordinances.  Assists the public in the prevention and reporting of criminal activity, documentation of evidence, traffic enforcement, and traffic accidents. Accountable to and works under the direction of the Police Chief.  H.S. Grad or GED.  Certification as a Police Officer by the Florida Department of Criminal Justice, Standards, & Training Required. Salary range: $33,565-$37,799 + full benefits, take-home vehicle and pension.
