Frank C. Gardner Park

At 2.3 Acres, the park includes:

Veterans Memorial

The Lake Alfred Veterans Memorial is located in the Frank C. Gardner Park.  It was installed as part of a
community effort and continues to grow.  The initial groundbreaking was in November of 2012
and the Purple Heart Memorial was added in March of 2015.  The memorial allows for personalized
brick pavers and plaques.

Highlands Community Center

Encompassing 18.8 acres, the park includes:

  • Freshwater Boat Ramp with 12-15 parking spaces

  • Covered and Uncovered Picnic Tables
  • Picnic Pavilions
  • Large Barbecue Pit
  • Restrooms with Handicap Access
  • Lions Clubhouse with Large Parking Area
