Welcome to the City of Lake Alfred Utilities Department.
Water Conservation
One small leak can waste as much as three hundred gallons a month. A check of plumbing fixtures could prevent this unnecessary water consumption. When you fix any leaks immediately, it helps to conserve water and saves money. Water conservation is all of our responsibility and should be taken seriously to ensure that future generations can enjoy one of our greatest natural resources.
The Utilities Department is responsible for providing many basic services that are critical to the well being and quality of life within the community. The City of Lake Alfred proudly protects the health and welfare of its citizens by providing economical and environmentally sound water for consumption, irrigation, and fire protection.
The wastewater collection and treatment system serves an ever expanding community while complying with all local, federal and state environmental standards.
