Event Navigation

SATURDAY, MAY 5, 2018
At the Mackay Gardens
and Lakeside Preserve
From 7:00p.m. – 10:00p.m.
Presentation will be about “Astronomy for Beginners”. We will show you how to be an astronomer without a telescope. All you need to do is look up. You can start by learning and identifying constellations. You may not see the “faint fuzzies” on the other side of the universe, but if you have dark skies you can see the Andromeda galaxy, our closest faint fuzzy neighbor, without a telescope.
We will “focus” our telescopes on star clusters, nebulae, and galaxies far away! Rain or shine, the show goes on. Come and join us!
This event is FREE
of charge!
