The City of Lake Alfred is seeking proposals from qualified sign contractors for the manufacturing and installation of directional and gateway signs as part of the Lake Alfred Wayfinding Guide Sign System. Sign contractors shall prove experience with previously permitted wayfinding signs, and or demonstrate experience of FHWA, FDOT and MUTCD guidelines as they relate to community wayfinding signs.
Sealed proposals will be received until Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at 2:00pm in City Hall, 120 E. Pomelo Street, Lake Alfred, FL 33850. Sealed bids should be clearly marked “Wayfinding Signs Bid.”

The City reserves the right to reject proposals with or without cause and for any reason, to waive any irregularities or informalities, and to solicit and re-advertise for other proposals. Incomplete or non-responsive proposals may be rejected by the City as non-responsive or irregular. The City reserves the right to reject any proposal for any reason, including but without limitation, if the proposer fails to submit any required documentation, if the proposer is in arrears or in default upon any debt or contract to the City or has failed to perform faithfully any previous contract with the City or with other governmental jurisdictions. All information required by this Invitation to Bid must be supplied to constitute a proposal.
