Mr. Ryan Leavengood became the City of Lake Alfred’s City Manager in March of 2012. Ryan has worked in the public sector since completing his Master’s Degree in Public Administration and Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Environmental Policy and Science.

Experience includes; Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), Community Development Block Grant Program and risk management coordinator. Ryan’s work experience has led him down a path as an intern for the Economic Development and Housing Department and Planning and Management Department.

Mr. Leavengood was a recipient of two very distinguished scholarships; Pi Alpha Alpha and B. Harold Scholarship. Both scholarships are awarded by recognizing outstanding students for their accomplishments in the field of public affairs and administration and are based on career plans, academic achievements, and community involvement.
