Ryan Leavengood, City Manager
Mr. Ryan Leavengood has been Lake Alfred’s City Manager since March of 2012. He was formerly the Assistant City Manager for the City of Auburndale. Ryan has a Master’s Degree of Public Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Environmental Policy and Science. He was inducted into Pi Alpha Alpha, the national honor society for students of public administration and was the 2007 recipient of the B. Harold Farmer Scholarship.
Mr. Leavengood is a member of the International City/County Management Association (ICMA) and the Florida City/County Management Association (FCCMA). He currently sits on the Board of Directors for the FCCMA as the District 8 Director and is also the Chair of the Polk County Manager’s Group.
