Public Records & E-Mail
Under Florida law, e-mail addresses are public records. Do not send electronic mail to the City of Lake Alfred if you do not want your e-mail address released in response to a public records request. City of Lake Alfred Mobile App – GoGov
The City of Lake Alfred uses GoGov, an online and mobile service request system, to power its mobile app and reporting forms. This application that allows the Lake Alfred community to report non-emergency-related issues such as potholes, code enforcement, or facility maintenance concerns. GoGov can be used via the web on a desktop computer, laptop, mobile phone, or tablet.
GoGov is a public application. The description you enter will be visible to city staff and become a public record. Your display name will also be visible to city staff unless you submit it anonymously. Code enforcement concerns require the name and address of the person making the complaint.
Protection of Minors
The city is concerned about protecting children's privacy. Per the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, children under 13 should obtain their parent's permission before providing any information through this site. Most importantly, when children provide information through the city's website, it is only used to enable us to respond to the writer and not to create profiles of children.
